About Me

Currently located in Austin, Texas, I have been bartending for over 12 years. During the bizarre years of the global pandemic (2020-2022) I wanted to restructure my life, my goals, and my career. I came across a free SheCodes webinar to see if coding would be something that peaked my interest. Lo and behold, workshop after workshop, I have sparked a new and exciting fascination for coding where I have been able to pull from my creative and analytical brain to learn a new language and produce art through a computer screen.

Favorite Hobby Project

I built an engaging website landing page with interactive features using development tool such as HTML class manipulations, CSS grids, animations, with adding the abiliity to change the entire webpage to a dark theme.

Weather Project

Using advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript and API, I developed an online active weather forecast for any city around the world. Using skills learned through the SheCodes courses, I developed a real up-to-date timestamps of any city while showing a weather icon for the current weather.

World Clock

Using HTML, CSS, and advanced Javascript, I built a full functioning world clock that displays different cities, dates, and times. Utilizing a dropdown menu, you can also choose your current location as well as other city options around the world.
